I've setup multiple folder pairs and they work fine when run straight from Synchtoy. They also work fine when I manually run the task from the task scheduler myself.  Just seems the command to start it automatically isn't working.  Checked all files update and it shows task running in active tasks after manually started.  I've set it up the same way you did in VIsta with the -R after path to cmd file. 

Any ideas?

What command you used for  program/script in Task Scheduler? The right one should be [programfilepath]:\synctoycmd.exe -R.
