Assuming you have run the virus checker over the folder as well as installed the virus scanner, have you tried a disk check? This could potentially be a failing HDD - I have seen that before.
Does it occur when you view a particular video? Or is it any video from that folder?
Do you get it with any other applications? Could it be a memory problem instead?

Video "viruses" are very, very rare - I have heard they are possible, but I''ve never seen one myself. But then, I don''t trawl the kind of sites where you would be likely to pick up such things...
