I have not been able to create a case where adding a custom command to a module works.  I can add payload files, and they end up where I want them, but installation commands seem to hang the installer.  Simple stuff too, like registering a .dll.

Has anyone gotten these to work?  is there some magic I'm missing?

Just make sure the path is correct for the custom command and it should run. You can also try a sync command in the configuration file.
