Hi,

We all have issue list in our project sites. We need to add some values to some of the columns in that issue list. The requirement is we need these changes to reflect in all the new sites. Also how to make these changes reflect in current existing sites. Can anybody suggest a way to achieve this. One thing that i am aware of is creating a new project site template and associating it with EPT but that still not solves the issue for preexisting sites.

Please help asap.

Hello,

For new sites you need to create new Project Site Template and attached it to the EPT.

If they are few existing sites then you can update them manually else you need to use programming approach. Create C# console based application or PowerShell script to update the existing sites if they are many.

Sometime Project Reporting Sync job fails in the queue if you modify/delete the OOB columns in issue/Risk list. I would recommend you to first make the changes to one of the test project site and make sure the Project Reporting Sync job get process successfully in the queue for that test project and then apply these changes to all remaining sites.
