Hi,

I am trying to implement the presence control in a website using the Name Control Active X control. As per the Microsoft documentation, its mentioned that Name Control is installed with Office 2007 and Presence control will display actual status (as per Office Communicator 2007) only if the client's machine has got MS Office 2007 installed.

However, one of my colleague can see the status (as in Office Comminicator 2007) still she doesnt have Office 2007 installed and has got MS Office 2003 with SP 3.

I am confused as the document says something else and actual is different. What could be the possible reason for this behavior.

Any help appreciated.
