I was trying to order my test cases in MTM via the order function. But when i queued my build, the test cases didn't run in the expected order. Is this function buggy or is it me who does something wrong?

If you want your automated test cases to run in a certain order, you need to create an ordered test from Visual Studio and then add the test cases you want to run in order to that test case.
