I finally upgraded to Windows 7 (64 bit, Professional).  I still have EW2.  I only do this as a hobby, so I haven't upgraded EW.

I have 2 hard drives in my PC.  One for the OS and the other for data.  I have, sometimes, in the past redirected the My Documents folder to another location on the data drive.  Doesn't look like Win7 gives you that option.  Besides, I've heard that if you have a LOT of files, it's a good idea to not keep them in your profile - makes for a very slow start up of Windows.  So I'd rather not redirect, and just keep everything outside of my windows profile (unless I can't for some reason).

So I created a folder on my data drive, called it Documents.  I copied the entire "My Web Sites" folder from the old drive to this new data drive.  It still has the globe on it.

Is there any way to just use those existing websites in the My Web Sites folder, and not import them?  Seems silly to import them, if they're already in a folder structure that works (in the past).  I've always found it problematic "importing" with EW2.

just to clarify; I have installed EW2 in this new installation of Win7.  And the "data" drive I'm referring to is a new, larger drive.
