Until yesterday, I had full administrator access to our Project Server 2010. However, when I came to fill in my timesheet yesterday, I was unable to "Insert a Task".

I went to Server Settings to see if there was something up with my permissions and found that I only had 3 options available under Server Settings.

I have been working with another administrator trying to figure out what is wrong but am currently at a loss. We have had a look and I am in the Administrators group and have all the persmissions selected currently have all global permissions ticked. We have compared my account with hers and the permission levels and groups all seem to be the same as far as we can see.

Yet, I am still unable to add a new task to my timesheet or access any settings in Server Settings!

Check the security templet permision which are  apply on group.

Might be you have sync yur project server user with AD, and the all project server security will change acording AD group security.
