目前编码器不支持多播。对于IIS媒体，您可以使用同一台计算机进行捕获和编码。只要捕获卡的驱动程序暴露了directshow过滤器，那么Encoder就可以使用它。

I have two tuner/capture cards WinTV-HVR-1600 and am looking at MS Expression Encoder 4 to capture, encode, and stream via multicast over an local IP network 1Gb link.  Is this possible all on the same machine?  I can replace capure cards if these are not supported.

If the multicast stream is not available and it streams only to the IIS media services, can this be on the same machine, i7 3GHz 6 core processor, 32GB memory.

Hello,

Currently Encoder doesn't support multicast. As for IIS media, you can capture and encode using the same machine. As long as the capture card's drivers expose directshow filters then Encoder will work with it.
