I have server that have 5 disks. i would like to know which best configuration for the RAID? should i use RAID 5 or RAID 10? in case if i'm going to use RAID 10 how the 5 disks will be distributed?

When examining RAID configurations for use with SQL databases, there is no question RAID10 is the way to go. BTW, depending on your RAID controller you might be able to use that 5th disk as a global hotspare but generally RAID10 arrays require an even number of disks for array use.
