All,
       I have a fresh install, Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit machine. I have installed WSS 3.0 SP2 64 bit as well. I also have SQL Server 2008 Express 64 . So far everything seems to work fine.
When i try to install search server 2008 Express, I get the following error message

You must install Office Server 2007 - Please read Microsoft .....962935 with the most recent service pack.....without service packs has a known compatibility issue with this version of windows.

looking at the KB for 962935 does not fit my case. I know you can install Search Server express with WSS.

I am try to get this pair working

Is this so hard? Can any one please help me?
