I am using Search Server 2008 trial edition. I want to know what are the differences or the limitations of Search Server 2008 trial edition, compared to formal edition of Search Server 2008 (i.e. when I bought license)? It is important for me to know any functions which I am not able to test or use in trial edtion, especially important for me to make purchase decision. Thanks!

The trial edition is the full edition. Or do you mean the Search Server 2008 Express Edition?

The difference between the two is that the express edition does not have the high availability and load balancing option. So you can only install it on a single machine.
