Unfortunately, we cannot directly open VS 2017 solution VS 2010, sorry for this inconvenience.

**Each new version of Visual Studio generally supports most previous types of projects, files, and other assets. You can work with them as you always have, and provided that you don't depend on newer features, Visual Studio generally tries to preserve backwards compatibility with previous versions like Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio 2013, and Visual Studio 2012. (See the Release Notes for which features are specific to which versions.)
The ability to open a project created in a newer version of VS in an older version was first made available in VS 2012/VS 2013, allowing a VS 2013 project to be opened in VS 2012.
That cannot be done in VS 2010, so you will have to create a new project of the same type in VS 2010, then copy the various components in your VS 2017 project into it. This will save you time IF you have not used any features new to VS 2017 or any .NET features available only in .NET 4.5 and newer. VS 2010 is limited to .NET 4.0 and older.
