I am migrating a old PWA site that was provisioned with host header e.g. http://projectserver-1.

I will need to migrate it to a new farm. I am thinking to use 5 Database restore option:

You can use the host header that was used when you created the web application.

Or probably better, use the AAM (Alternate Access Method) to change the host header name.  Be aware that you must also bind the DNS to the IIS when you do this.
