I have couple of projects exported on Project Server 2010 as xml and I need to import them.

We're using Project Server 2010 SP1 with June 2012 cumulative updates. Microsoft told me that I need to export all the projects as xml and import them to another site. BTW-I tried also to export as mpp from Save for Sharing.

When I import the projects, it's asking me about the local resources to be replaced by enterprise resources. I say Yes to All and then when I go to Resource Sheet, I see 2 same names, one local resource and the other enterprise resource. Both have actual work with different tasks. 

I tried to replace the assignments of the tasks from local resources according to Gary Chefetz book but it didn't help me.

How can I replace all local resources with enterprise resources for all tasks and actuals?

• To replace an existing resource with an enterprise resource, in the Project Resource column, select the resource or generic resource that you want to replace. Under Enterprise Resource, select the new enterprise resource, and then click Replace.

When you replace a resource, the replaced resource is not removed if they have completed any actual work. The replacement resource is assigned the remaining work.

 to move the actual work for in progress tasks from a local resource to an enterprise resource
