Experts, I have a project that I will have a project team of 12 or more accessing PWA and making updates.  Is there anyway to disable check/check out.  Not only does it slow things down, but only one person can make updates to PWA.  If he/she were to walk away from the computer no one will be able to make updates without forcing a check in and loss of data.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is a basic security rule of Project Server that can not be broken: as you say, only one person can modify a project at the same time.
