I am importing several projects which were originally offline, to Project Server 2010 but I cannot get the actuals to come across.

Interseting. When you say you cannot get actuals to come accross, do you mean they disappear in the schedule once you save the project or they are not seen in project web app (PWA)? If PWA, then make sure you publish the project to make the data vieweable in PWA.
