I have completed the integration of TFS 2010 and project server 2010 successfully(hope so). I am able to push values of core fields as well as custom fields(DevStart, DevFinish,State etc) from TFS to Project Server. I am right now facing issue with datetime datatype control default value. I mean to say if i leave the DevStart and DevFinish value as blank in project professional and i publish the project( offcourse the publishtoTemaproject flag set as yes), it gets published successfully and when i cross check the field values in TFS work items I found the DevStart and DevFinish controls have got values as 1/3/1984.

I am wondering why is it 1/3/1984 only why not something else lijke 1/1/1900 or so. Could somebody please help me out with the reason behind it and how to allow blank values to be passed from project server to TFS into these fields.
