I am trying to have a continuously running job that gets scheduled files from a database.

The problem is that as soon as I add the new file in step 4, the encode just stops encoding.
Is what am doing even possible. If not, why should this not be a one of the most important feature?

SDK不支持概述的方案，也不支持UI。按照设计，由于生成[DShow]图表的方式调用Encode（），您无法更改实时文件/设备源集合。

The outlined scenario is not supported via the SDK nor via the UI. As designed you can't change the live file/device source collection once the call to Encode() has been made due to how the [DShow] graph is generated.
