#1 - I believe they still appear to the Team Member with a Process Status of Rejected so that they can edit and resubmit. Otherwise, the team member has no idea what they submitted.

#2 - If you are using Single Entry mode, Send Status only sends the task update without sending the timesheet. The scenario is applicable if the PM needs to report on the project on Wednesday and needs the latest but timesheets only go in on Friday.  All tasks will determine which tasks were updated and send those updates. Selected tasks will only send the tasks you check. Submit timesheet sends both assignment updates and timesheet line updates and locks the timesheet.
