I have created a demo software factory. Using this i try to create a solution with no of projects ( 10,15, 25, 50). If have enabled many recipes for all the projects while closing such a solution visual studio take a lot of time ( hangs actuallys for along time). Has any one faced this behaviour before.  Could this be a issuue with having too many recipes.

I have made one more observation here i.e lesser the size of .gpstate quicker does visual studio close.

We haven't seen this before. Can you tell us what Guidance Packages have you enabled when this happens? Is one from p&p, a custom one, etc?
