大家好,

我在doc-ok [1]上读了一篇文章。 Autor说他的校准方法比工厂校准方法好得多。我测试了他的校准和工厂校准。结果几乎相同(两次校准都与实际情况差异大约为1美元)。 

I read a articel at doc-ok[1]. The Autor says that his calibration method is much better then the factory calibration method. I test both, his calibration and the factory calibration. The result was nearly the same (both calibrations has around 1mm differences from the reality). 

我的问题如下:为什么没有区别?工厂校准方法是否改变,结果更好?这是一个看似合理的论点,因为该文章于2013年1月26日发布。

My question is following: Why no difference? Was the factory calibration methode change, so that the result are better? It is a plausible argument because the article was posted at January 26, 2013.

Intrisics不应该改变。除非对传感器造成一些灾难性损坏,否则镜头不会改变。另一方面,Extrinsics可能会发生变化,因为无法保证设备在发货后没有碰到。
Intrisics shouldn't change. Unless there is some catastrophic damage to the sensor the lens don't change. Extrinsics on the other hand, may change, since there is no guarantee the device hasn't been bumped around after shipping.
