Hi,

I have a project which has been created in proj pro and saved into the server. When I try to open the project to edit in pwa I get a message saying it cannot be edited in PWA because of the features used in the plan.

When I open in Proj 2010 I cannot see all of the tasks. The row numbers (ie the leftmost column in proj pro) indicate that tasks 22,23,24 are missing in Proj Pro but these can be seen though not edited in Proj Server PWA.

How can I fix this/amend these tasks? I'd be grateful for any help.

Hi Jack,

when you open your plan in Project client, open ribbon View and check that there is no filter applied in group data. If there is any, you can clear this filter.

When you try to open your plan in PWA, I assume you get a message that you there are task with task type "Fixed Work". One solution is to change task type in your plan to another task type and publish. Or to apply SP1 on client and server. With SP1, you will be allowed to edit projects with task type Fixed Work.
