i am trying to install offline installer of Microsoft Agent for Visual Studio 2015-Update3. But in half way the installation fails, showing "A certificate Chain Processed but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider".

I tried by adding certificate under TrustedRootCerticationAuthorities from  Run->mmc.exe. but nothing works for me.

Pls suggest.

What’s the computer’s operating system that you install "Microsoft Agent for Visual Studio 2015 Update 3" on it? Does it have installation Visual Studio? What is the version of Visual Studio?

I install the "Microsoft Agent for Visual Studio 2015 Update 3" on my Windows 10 Enterprise which has installed Visual Studio 2017, and it install successfully.

Based on the error message, it is related the trusted root certificate, please refer to this link install a certificate chain, then add root certificate to Trusted Root Certificates.
