I am having problems importing a M2TS or TS file that contains a VC-1 video track and a AC3 audio track.

When I do so... it only recognizes the audio track within the file and not the VC-1 video track. The M2TS/TS file will play just fine using other programs. So I know the file isn't corrupt. I have also tried about 20 OTHER M2TS/TS files and I get the same problem.

Whats going on?

What I am trying to do. Is convert this M2TS/TS file with a VC-1 video track and a AC3 audio track into a WMV file with a WMA9 Pro 5.1 audio track so that it can play on a XBox 360.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can easily change this M2TS/TS file to a MKV file. But the video track will still be a VC-1 video track with a AC3 audio track.

My problem isn't with the audio importing. It is with the Video track. When I import the M2TS/TS file. It says that it is an "audio" file and not a video/audio file & it won't show any video.

I uninstalled Expression Encoder 3. Uninstalled Windows Media 9 Encoder 64 bit.

Re installed Windows media 9 encoder, Re-installed windows media 9 encoder 64 bit and reinstalled Expression encoder 3.

Now it is reading the M2TS / TS file as a Video/audio file. However NOW... the whole program CRASHES with

"expression Encoder has stopped working"

Two buttons "Debug" or "Close program"

No matter which one I choose... it will close the program. Then I am back at square 1.

Now to make matters worse. I just paid
