I recently purchased a full version of EW3. I'm using Windows XP Pro SP3 and I was able to add a background image as a watermark. However, when I attempt to format the image, the Properties button for this option is grayed out. I've tried everything short of re-installing the software to access this. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It sounds as if you have set the image as a background-image property (a CSS attribute) and not as an <img... /> element on the page. They are treated differently.

You don't say what you mean by "format," but you should be aware that neither HTML editors nor Web browsers make good image editors. Prepare the image to the size, aspect ratio, etc. that you want it to be, then optimize (compress) it on save for fast download time, before referencing it in your markup or CSS. If you just want to position it in the background, see the CSS background-position attribute.
