This all worked fine on Windows XP but, since we have upgraded to Windows 7, I have been able to remove the button on the Start Menu that allows the user to logoff, shutdown, etc the workstation. I have been able to remove most everything else using Group Policy Manager on our Windows 2012 R2 domain. I have been able to remove the logoff but then the Shutdown et al displays and if I remove the Shutdown et al then the logoff returns (even when the GPO specified to remove it).

Is it possible to remove or disable this button and the popup menu? This is a very critical problem for us since the operator must not be allowed to terminate the application.
