How can i edit cakephp template files (ctp extension) in microsoft expression web 3?
This file contain mixed php and html code.

When i try to open this file, i see the "Paste text" dialog.
I need to open it as ordinary php document.

Tools -> Application Options -> Configure Editors

Add the extension, and select "Expresssion Web (Open as HTML)".  It will open it as an HTML file, not as a PHP file; that is, it will not color code the PHP in Code View, and it will prompt you to save it with a php extension.  But at least you can open and edit it.

There's no option to Open as PHP:  EW lists php extensions as Open as HTML, but it recognizes that a php extension has PHP in it, and color codes the Code view accordingly.
