Hi,

I have Created SharePoint Designer Workflow on SharePoint Custom List in SP Online (Office 365). 

But Workflow not starting on some of the list items. For other list items its workflow fine.

When i checking workflow history of list item's status is showing "Failed on Start" and on Description "Workflow was canceled by System Account ".

Please let me know how can i solve this Issue.

Did the issue occur in workflow 2010 or workflow 2013?

To troubleshoot the issue, check things below:

1. Republish the workflow with another user to check if the same issue will occur.

2. Deactivate and re-activate the "Workflow" site collection feature. Go to Site Actions->Site settings-> Site collection features->find the "Workflow" site collection feature.

3. Create a new list item to check if the same issue will occur.

4. Create a new workflow to check if the same issue will occur.
