I know that's possible to integrate OneNote's OCR engine in any c# desktop application by using the OneNote COM API, but I don't know if this is allowed for commercial applications. If not, is there a way to use it legally? Preferably the engine itself without OneNote. Because the engine is very fast, accurate and already installed on nearly all of our customers computers, it would be a shame to install an alternative engine (e.g. tesseract).
