I installed Visual Studio 2015 and enabled the Visual C++ v140 toolset in the Visual Studio Installer, but when I tried to enable "LLVM-vs2014" in Properties->General->Platform (or whatever it's called) on Visual Studio 2017, I got an error popup saying that the targets I'm trying to get probably don't exist on disc and that I should check if the path is correct.
I'm asking this here because it has to do with Visual Studio itself and not specifically LLVM/Clang, so I hope the first person to reply doesn't tell me to take it to LLVM mailing lists. I don't like default replies like that.
The only thing is that maybe I should've asked this in "Visual Studio Setup and Installation" - if that's the case, though, then please move it there and inform of it.
Anyway, thanks in advance for any help.
Edit for additional info: It seems that the path "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\V140" doesn't have Microsoft.Cpp.props which is what it looks for. I'm repairing my installation of VS2015 for now and will try to check after that. But could you guys please help me out in fixing this as well? Is there a way I could get all of the .props files I need in that folder? Right now I only have the following: Microsoft.CodeAnalysis.props, Microsoft.Cpp.Clang.props, and Microsoft.Cpp.ClangC2.Common.props. The V120 folder has a whole bunch of .prop files that the V140 folder doesn't have.
Anyway, please help me fix this. Thanks in advance
Edit2: Alright, the repair operation seems to have given me the .prop files. I'll try doing that with LLVM-vs2014 again now.

You don't have to install VS2015 if it's only for getting VC++ v140, since it's already integrated in VS2017 installer, you could get it here:
