我有一个适用于BB和Android的应用程序（java）我把它移植到了Windows 8的

Hi All

I have an application (java) that works on BB and Android and I have ported it to Windows 8
phone. In order to get it to work on the win phone and test it I have had to jump through quite a few hoops but it is working etc. The thing is I cannot expect end users to do the same.

The app is a "front end" for a cloud service that requires the end user to be a subscriber before they can use the application. I don't want to put it on the windows store because I know I will get people (non subscribers)  downloading it finding they cannot use it and then rating it badly.

My main question and I cannot find an answer to this is: Can I package the app with some kind of an installer that allows the end user to just download and install without having to put this on the store?

This is not the recommended way because most of the time malware applications are pushed to the device by the user (mistakenly) which he never wanted to happen. 

So, if you just upload it to the app store and first let the users understand how to install the application and use it. Then the users would either now download it if they're confused otherwise they will do as you ask them to and if they like it they'll rate it higher. 

Why so being afraid if you're a good developer? :-)
