I keep on fumbling with the lookup limitation for SharePoint and/or PowerApps and Flow. 100% SharePoint online, nothing on-site.

Once I attempt to create a PowerApp, from customizing a form (starting from SharePoint), to create a PowerApp it says that I have exceeded the number of lookups at different point. I also see this in Flow when I try to pull the created item's detail in to an e-mail or another tool.

I'm not sure what I'm missing. I just cannot understand why SharePoint allows me to create a new item just fine with 12 lookups but Flow and PowerApps errors out with the fact that I exceeded the limit.

In SharePoint online, the lookup columns contain Standard lookup columns, Managed metadata columns, People and groups columns, Workflow Status columns, Created by, Modified by, Name (linked to Document), Link (Edit to edit item), Name (linked to Document with edit menu) and Type (icon linked to document).

The workaround for the issue, you could modify or create the view in your SharePoint list that has a maximum of 11 lookup columns.
