One of my users is finding when trying to open a Word document from SharePoint to Word, he gets the message "Unable to download the information as requested". Tried different things which didn't work but then found another Word document in SharePoint that we were able to open but it requested that he log in again. Once that document opened, he was able to open the original document.

It seems to be a credentialing problem. Any idea why this would happen? This happened yesterday and today (no previous issues) and today if took trying a couple of documents before finding one that would prompt a logon. Another gave the same error message and another said the user was already logged in.

Does this make sense and does anyone have any solutions so we don't have to go through this? Again, this is new and hadn't been a problem previously.
