one of my user keep on getting this below error from ms-word while saving the docx file from client application.

we verified is the file is checked out or not... it is not checked out by abyone.

the same user open the file from sharepoint in ms-word. the same guy getting this error while saving, himself it locked.

apart from him none of the user open the document.

Usually the issue is cause by the Office Cache. You could close the particular word file on user's machine, then open "Office Upload Center" and check if the file is listed under the cache files. If yes, select the particular file and clear it.
