Probably you can set a breakpoint somewhere in nt!PspCreateProcess (in Vista for example, pspinsertprocess seems to be called there - but do not know, where else).
There a process-structure is held for quite a while in ebx-register according to disassembly (xp-sp3) - if I do not err.
