We have successfully setup user profiles and my sites, but I'm having an issue where the user's profile in SharePoint User Profile Sync service application is correct, but doesn't appear to be corrected for the users for the MySite.

I'm having trouble trying to find a link I can modify to update the mysite and am hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

From your description, my understanding is that you changed user properties from AD, user profile has been updated from user profile service application, but user properties is not updated in my site, is it right? 

Go to CA and run the timer job "User Profile Service Application - User Profile to SharePoint Full Synchronization".
