I had Microsoft Visual Studio  2012 Ultimate installed in my computer originally.

When it finished installing it worked OK, then I closed it, and when I re-opened , it wanted me to Modify, Repair or Uninstall (couldn't bypass it). I chose Repair, but when I close and re-open it again, it does the same and I can't seem to launch Visual Studio.

Any direction to solving this? Thanks

I would uninstall it completely:

and then I would reinstall it with the minimum components, to see if that works. Then modify it adding one component each time to see if still works. The result is that either it finally works, or you discover which exact component makes it fail.

Also notice that is you have an MSDN Susbcription for VS 2012 Ultimate you can upgrade to Visual Studio 2013, 2015 or 2017. If not, there are also Community editions for VS 2013, 2015 and 2017 that depending on licensing and the size of your company / type of project you could use.
