when i start my computer it doesnt load at all instead it says

\ WINDOWS \ SYSTEM32 \ CONFIG \ SYSTEM

can anybody help me with this problem ive been using a friends computer lately.

it then says i can try to repair it by pressing 'r' but that doesnt work

You have your orginal window disk?

if so, boot up from your window disk.
