We have recently migrated from SharePoint On Premise to Online. Since then I am unable to open a document in client application. The document gets open in Explorer view without any error. In order to narrow down cascading, I copied the file in root site and able to open file in Client Application, so it seems to be a path character limit issue.

我检查了URL中的字符，发现了314个字符，其中限制为400个字符.

I checked the characters in URL and found 314 characters, wherein the limit is 400 characters.
