I logged in to a sharepoint frontend server and tried to access a site (which is hosted in another server) from inside the server. But the site is not reachable. Could you please suggest if  I am missing any server settings or any other issue?

1- have you checked if there is configuration for any proxy  through IE?

2-您是否检查过hosts文件中是否有任何条目将您重定向到其他位置?

2- have you checked if there are any entry in the hosts file redirect you to different place ?

3- did you disable loop back check in the front server ? Have a look on SharePoint 2013: Disable Loopback Check
