Hello,

I'm trying to create an approval workflow in sharepoint designer based on a value in a column in the wiki pages library.

The procedure should be as follows:

If a page is created with value 1 in column Wiki Categories workflow 1 should automaticaly be started.

If a page is created with value 2 in column Wiki Categories workflow 2 should automaticaly be started.

Is there a simple way to achieve this?

I think this should be possible using sharepoint designer but i'm new at using sharepoint designer for this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Didimons,

We cannot achieve the procedure in your post.

To achieve the same goal, we can trigger the workflow when the page is created.

And then in the workflow check if the value of the column Wiki Categories is equal to value1, then do some actions. And else if check if the value of the column Wiki Categories is equal to value2, then do some actions.

The workflow will be like the picture below.

And in the workflow settings, in the start options, to trigger the workflow when the page is created, we can select "Allow this workflow to be manually started" and "Start workflow automatically when an item is created."
