we are experiencing weird issues when random laptops drop off Azure AD. We have on prem AD with sync to Azure AD for O365 apps. We also have conditional access setup that only Azure AD-joined devices can access email.

First thing we test is connecting user to cloud mail and sure enough they get "You can't get there from here message". We know how to rejoin laptops to Azure domain; that's not the issue, it's just the inconvenience of user suddenly losing ability to access email and helpdesk support guys/gals having to rejoin them.

Anyone could point me in the right direction on how to prevent this? If it was one or two, I wouldn't bother, but it's regular 2/3 a week. Would a laptop name be an issue? We reuse old names when we rebuild laptops.
