I'm using an on-premise version of SharePoint 2013.

I've generated a subsite from a template I created that includes several links on the wiki home page to list forms within the site. 

However, when I click on these links in the new subsite, it's directing me to forms in the original template site.  The original subsite I created to establish the template has since been deleted, so after saving the information in the form, it's directing me to a list that no longer exists.

The information is showing up in the correct list on the new subsite, however the broken link is annoying and will create confusion if I deploy this template across staff as intended.

Is there a way to construct the template so the links remain common to the new subsite created from the template and not link back to the original site the template was based on?

Best way to do that by giving relative URLs while creting the template. By using relative URL it will remain retlative to all new sites created which will point to same site
