As far as I know, in Visual Studio 2013, we need agents and controllers to run remote test. But in Visual Studio 2015, we just install Agents for Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 if run test with VSO of TFS. Because Agents for Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 handle orchestration by communicating with VSO or TFS 2015.
