I am trying to install SharePoint Designer 2010 onto a VMware Horizon client having Windows 7 installed and have experienced a few problems.

The first time I tried installing it, I experienced this error half way through the installation:

Researching this, I found this reference, error 1935 error 1712, which suggested first restarting the machine and then re-installing. So I did this.  After rebooting, I attempted the installation again, and this time it completed without issue.  However, I experienced a new error on trying to launch SharePoint Designer 2010:

• 加载失败."无法加载"C:\ PROGRA！2 \ COMMON！1 \ MICROS〜1 \ Web服务器扩展\ 14 \ BIN \ fpsrvutl.dll"

Checking in the folder, C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\14\BIN, I discovered that the file in fact does exist and is in the location it was looking in:

So, I'm not sure what the issue is.  The file exists, and it's in the location where it is looking, but it can't seem to find it there.  I would be grateful for any assistance.
