Hi there,
Has anyone some experience with the folowing?
We want to add some terminal servers. There are allready a few 2003 TS in our network, but now, to run Exact Globe from other offices, we want to add some.
First we need to add just one (for about 30 users) but in a few months it will be about 100 users.
Also, we want some fault tollerance.
Here the question:
Is it better to use dedicated 2008 servers with TS installed and add new hardware (servers) if the amount of users grows or,
is it smart to buy a fat server with a lot of memory and processors, install 2008-R2 enterprise, hyper-v R2 as a host for some virtual terminal servers
Later we can add a new 2008 enterprise server for live migration.

How is the performance on the terminal server(s) if they are on a 2008-R2 hyper-v host?

Does anyone have some experience with this issue?
