I'm running Outlook 2002 on XP. (Not on an exchange server).  It is _very_ slow (more than 20m to load send/receive.) I started a new .pst file and disabled virus checker and Google Desktop indexing but this did not fix the problem.
Although my PC is old (1G RAM), other PC's in our office do not have the same problem. I have 4 accounts with about 8000 emails combined. We are on a very fast corporate network.  I spoke to MS a while ago but none of their suggestions was able to fix the problem.
