I have a classic storage account (SA1) on one subscription and a storage account in resource manager (SA2) on another subscription.

I have copied a VHD from a blob container from SA1 to SA2.

Now I want to create a managed disk based on the VHD on SA2. I do this via Azure Portal. At the point where I'm about to pick the VDH, I select SA2 and the list of containers of SA2 keeps saying "Loading...". The portal hangs at this point.

I see all, the SA2, the blob container as well as the VHD when I'm just browsing the storage account using Azure Portal.

Could you share the screen shot of error "Loading..", when you are trying to create a managed disk from SA2 storage container to help better on this?

Also, when you say copied VHD from a SA1 storage blob container to SA2, did you copied VHD using powershell?
