The UI presented during the install (and/or update) of VS2011 is distorted/unreadable when the install is being done via remote desktop. UI appears as expected if I work on the physical machine instead.

Using RDS the UI appears "normal" until the installation window goes into the background (as when another window is opened over it). Thereafter the installation UI is simply a black (or gray) rectangle and is then of course useless.

The remote machine (on which the install is running) is Win7 Ultimate SP1 x64 on a Dell XPS L511Z with NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M with driver version 8.17.12.9610. The machine also has builtin Intel HD Graphics Family controller (Driver version 8.15.10.2321). I've tried disabling the Nvidia graphics controller and using the Intel instead. This doesn't help the problem. I also updated the NVidia driver, but that didn't help either.

I've also tried playing around with the  Display Quality and Experience settings in RDS (fewer colors, disabling all (or selected) Experience features, but the problem persists.
